Homicide detective Frank Harriman is on the case when when the wreckage of a small plane is found. The plane was owned by a detective who disappeared a decade before, and who was thought to be involved with aiding the killer of a police officer's family. As new evidence points to another possibility, Harriman becomes the target of someone who wants the past to stay buried.
